Spaghetti Carbonara ∞
Ingredients:
- 100g Smoked bacon, finely chopped
- 1 Large clove garlic, crushed
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 325g spaghetti
- 140ml double cream
- 75g Parmesan cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
Method:
Time: 20 minutes, Serves 2-3
- Dry fry the bacon until just brown (possibly using a little oil). Add the garlic and onion and cook until tender, stirring all the time.
- Cook the spaghetti as directed (8 – 12 minutes, with 15ml tbsp oil) drain.
- Combine cream and 50g of the Parmesan cheese until a smooth mixture is formed.
- Put all in a serving dish and mix together. Season to taste. Serve immediately.
