Old Predictions Come True ∞
As I was updating my blog recently, I went through the old content, deciding what to migrate and what to let fade into internet electron obscurity, read once1 then discarded.
However I noted a piece I wrote on 11 November 2008 postulating that “next year they will probably have single-use red poppy stickers”, and what did they have in November past, but adhesive poppies that lasted about 2 days before falling off.
OK, one post out of several hundred worthless witterings was true to some degree, but it made me happy.
