An interesting piece on Wired.com about how Google’s Open Source Android Phone Will Free the Wireless Web.
As the article concludes, Google win whether Android is a success or not, just as long as it helps to get more people browsing the web (and Google.com) from their mobiles.
If the history of open source applications is anything to go by, it will likely take a few iterations, and project splits, before Android 3.0 is the best mobile OS out there.
But until then, I think I will go with an iPhone 2.0.
