“Autumn: Turn Around (Aspen)”
TURN AROUND uses images drawn from the Aspen: the leaves, twigs and bark. The aspen is set at the autumn equinox around 23 September, a time of plenty, when its foliage is at the height of its beauty. The slightest breeze induces the incessant, trembling movement of the leaves, said to be voices from the spirit world. Aspens in a group may share the same root system: parent and offspring in proximity, life in a continual cycle.
